In 2016 Outline Planning Consent was granted for the whole New Bolton Woods masterplan area including up to 1000 new houses. This will guide the regeneration process as we make the New Bolton Woods.
50 Houses have already been built and sold. Future development will be brought forward in stages over many years.
Housing – The Poplars
Working in partnership with Skipton Properties, CRUVL has delivered the first 50 houses at New Bolton Woods. Marketed as ‘The Poplars’ these houses at Daisyfields off Poplars Park Road are fully occupied.
Local Centre – Costa
A new Costa Drive-Thru at Canal Road / Stanley Road opened for business in April 2019. This is the first part of the new local centre and will be followed by a new Aldi store early in 2020.
Local Centre – Aldi
The most important part of the New Bolton Woods local centre, the 17,000 sq.ft. new Aldi store has now been completed. The store opened in April 2020 and will trade alongside the already successful new Costa. A further 10,000 sq.ft. store adjacent to Aldi is currently being marketed to potential retailers.
Housing – Woodlands View
Delivery partners Keepmoat Homes are well underway with the Woodlands View part of New Bolton Woods. Sales have been progressing since early 2019 and when completed the current phase of delivery will comprise 145 new houses. Sales are expected to continue through to 2022.
Phase Three Housing
Options for a third phase of new housing are currently being designed alongside the 200 currently committed within New Bolton Woods.
New Medical Centre
CRUVL is working closely with a local medical practice to provide a new medical centre for New Bolton Woods.
New Poplars Farm School
Plans are being prepared to expand the current school into a larger 2 form entry school on the current site close to the first new housing at New Bolton Woods.
New 3G Sports Pitch
CRUVL is working in partnership with One in a Million and Bradford council to deliver this new facility at Gaisby Lane.
